Car Show 2017 Recap

Check Out The Ed Napleton Honda Classic Car Show & Concert Benefiting the USO of Illinois

Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn hosted the 4th annual Classic Car Show & Concert Extravaganza at the dealership on Sunday, July 9th from 9am -  6:30pm. The event was held as this year's kickoff event for the Chicago Automobile Trade Association's BBQ for the Troops benefiting the USO of Illinois. Ed Napleton Honda was just one of the 70 dealerships across the Chicagoland area to set competition aside and participate in the CATA efforts that have raised over 400 thousand dollars for local service men, women and their families. Guests had the opportunity to enjoy a great barbecue, a wide display of classic cars, and live music. Our Car Show & Concert Extravaganza continues to grow every year with increased attendance and support from other local community businesses.

Several bands took the stage throughout the day to show their support for the troops as well. Entertainment this year included modern country band, Dixie Crush, Jim Bulanda's Frank Sinatra Tribute, Chicago's #1 Horn Driven Party Band, Tynan, and The Led Zeppelin Show by Kashmir. Music fans, car fans and families were able to enjoy a relaxing day with fun-filled activities for everyone.

The good eats were also a major hit and necessary for the long, hot day. In addition to an all-day barbecue, food vendors included Chuck's Southern Comfort Café, TCBY, Firehouse Subs, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Pizza Hut.

It was and continues to be an honor for Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn to provide a fun, successful community event that supports the amazing members of USO Illinois.
